Saludez This study aimed to analyze The Divergent Trilogy written by Veronica Roth using Marxist Literary Approach. The certain class conflicts present in the series are (1) The feud between Abnegation and Erudite, (2) The competition between the initiates, (3) Divergent inside the Amity compounds, (4) The Factions and Erudite, (5) Jeanine Mathews and Beatrice Prior (the conflict of Triss divergence, (6) Factionless and the Allegiant and (7) The Bureau and the Genetically Damaged. The class consciousness are classified as (1) their destiny after the initiations and the choosing ceremony, (2) The 5 factions, (3) the factionless people (4) the factions and their role in their city, (5) to the truth behind the factions and the city they live in, (6) the new Chicago (The Allegiant) and (7) GDs and GPs. In terms of alienation, the following was analyzed (1) The 5 factions and their initiations, (2) Jeanines control over Dauntless, (3) Candor, (4) the odd rules of Dauntless, (5) being a Divergent, (6) Life outside the city, (7) Factions and (8) This study is also analysed in the Feminist Literary Approach. In terms of biological model the series was analyzed into (1) Women of every faction, (2) Women amidst the rebellion, (3) Beatrice Tris Prior and (4) Evelyn Johnson as a mother and as a leader, (5).
Linguistic model are classified as (1) Rules of Abnegation, (2) when people speak their minds, (3) Faction culture and ways, (4) Arguments between Tobias and Tris, (5) Women as leaders, (6) Christina of Candor and (7) Women speaks. In psychoanalytic model, the following was analyzed (1) Ways of thinking done by Female characters in the story, (2) Love, relationships and factions, (3) Tris and her strong, independent character, (4) Triss memories of her parents and the Abnegation, (5) Anticipation, (6) Women in love and (7) the council as their enemy. Cultural model was analyzed according to (1) the transferees and their origin factions, (2) Women before, during and after initiations, (3) Faction traits, (4) Tris as a daughter and a sister, (5) Women are strong and (6) As mothers. This study also aimed to propose a computer-assisted instructional tool for the teaching of literary criticism based on the analysis of the series and evaluate it using a survey questionnaire in terms of helpfulness, contents, understandability and appeal to target users. This study used the descriptive method of research that underwent content analysis of the novels made and its results undergone qualitative interpretation.
