Abstract— As we know that todayevery country shown great attention toward solar energy because it is a greatsource of renewable energy. They make such devices or system that convert thissolar energy into electrical energy. This conversion can be done by twodifferent method one is direct method while the other is indirect method. In direct method solar energy is directly converted into electricalenergy through photovoltaic (PV) while in indirect method solar energy firstconvert into heat energy and then this heat energy or steam can be convertedinto electricity through concentrated solar power (CSP) system.

In our project we will present the comparative study between these twotypes of solar power panel (PV & CPV). Our study includes different qualitystandards that improve the quality of these two types of solar panel and it’sinclude their components, types, cost, efficiency, advantages anddisadvantages.)                                                                                                                                             I.      Introduction (Heading 1)Today the mostpower full source of energy on the earth is Sun. Every type of energy such aswind energy, biomass, hydro, fossil fuel etc. having their origins is sunlightthat can be produce by sun. According to research sun can fall solar energy atthe rate of 120 petawatts on the surface of the earth as shown in fig.1.

Itsmean the total energy that sun can fall on the surface of the earth in one daywould full fill to satisfied the requirement of whole world for more than 20years.1Renewable energyis such type of energy that is comes from some natural resources such assunlight, wind, rain, geothermal heat etc. All these resources are renewableand that can be produced though natural phenomena. Therefore we will be able toconsider these resources to be inexhaustible in all practical purpose.2These allRenewable energy sources only solar technologies will take the interest of allthe researcher or people who are working on Renewable energy sources. In thewhole market of the world these solar power system can be divided into twoclasses the first one is direct while the other one is indirect solar power.

Indirect method solar energy is directly converted into electrical energy throughphotovoltaic (PV) while in indirect method solar energy first convert into heatenergy and after that this heat energy or steam can be converted intoelectricity through concentrated solar power (CSP) system. In CSP the mainproblem in these technology is their inefficiency and their high capital cost 3. As shown in figure 1.1, 1.2we can see how the conversion can take place in PV System and CSP System.
