Because America is well-known as a country which has a strong development about healthcare, from the very first days I came to the US, I decided to further my education and start my career in this area. To begin, I did not know what I wanted to do in the large health care field with many choices. At first, I tried myself with nursing major just because my family told me it is an easy job to looking for after I graduate. I started with all courses for pre-nursing, but I gradually realized that my passion was just not stop by patient care like doctors or nurses. More than that, I want to be a part in the healthcare system that set a solid and firm foundation to make hospitals trustable to save others’ lives, for not only doctors feel comfortable to work at their highest productivity but also patients keep calm to be cured well. Therefore, after assemblage research and learning on which path I would want to embark in the future, I found that my burning desire is becoming a healthcare manager, especially Medical and Health Services Managers.
A Medical and Health Services Managers might manage an entire facility, a specific clinical area or department, or a medical practice for a group of physicians. This career is good fit for me because I am able to work to ensure that there will give the best quality healthcare for patients. To become manager, I have to finish learning in university at least four years to perfect my knowledges and skills as well as required experiences.
