John Muir who lived from 1838-1914, advocated wilderness preservation, environmental philosophy and naturalism. On top of that, he was an author. Muir is most acredible for his foundation of the Sierra Club, and his help in the establishments of Sequoia and Yosemite National parks As John Muir once said, ” The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness”PETA reaches its goals through public education, cruelty investigation, animal rescues, and many more strategies. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are legitimately the largest animal rights organization on the planet and focus their attention in four areas of animal abuse: factory farms, clothing trade, laboratories, and the entertainment industry. PETA banned animal testing in 7 more countries , saved dogs from pesticide testing, and cut off animal dissection from schools in New Mexico, all in 2015. The list goes on and on, on their achievements. As an Individual who makes my own decisions, everytime I’m in the supermarket I check the labels on the products I consume.
From the eyeliner I wear to the shampoo I use, I always choose the non-animal tested products over the others. Consumption is everything. If we don’t buy it, they won’t make it.
Our individual small decisions inevitably reflect among our planet and industry.
