Every person has a different requirement in all situations, when it comes to communication, things need to be adapted depending on the target audience. The person you are communicating with could be a child who has a short attention span, someone who is poor sighted, or someone who is hard of hearing. These three individuals would all need different methods of communication, for example, the person who is poor sighted would need large font and bold writing if you were using written communication, in this case you would be better speaking to this person verbally to ensure they got all the information needed.
In these situations, you must think which method of communication is better for the individual. In a business environment, you would not generally speak to someone who has just started a new job the same way as you would to someone who has 30 years’ experience.
