Having show difference in pacing. One takes time

Having different plot elements, characterization,Written by John Steinbeck, the story of ‘Of Mice and Men’ is one of literature’s greatest because of its meaningful themes, complex characters and vivid imagery. With the book’s 1992 Hollywood film adaptation, there are differences in components of the story from the original text. In both versions of ‘Of Mice and Men’, plot elements, characterization, and the author’s/director’s purpose determine which medium of art is more effective.
Both the film adaptation and the book contain differences in plot elements such as dialogue, pacing, and additional visual detail. For example, in Steinbeck’s text, the beginning of the book starts with Steinbeck using phrases for scenery images like, “The water is warm too, for it has slipped twinkling over the yellow sands in the sunlight before reaching the narrow pool.” to slowly draw the reader into the story. In the film, the audience is immediately put into the incident that happened in Weed. Both beginnings show difference in pacing. One takes time to visually paint a picture while the other puts the viewer in a scene with no context.
and artistic purposes provide more insight to the effectiveness of both mediums
