In the book Romeo and Juliet it shows that love is worth fighting for, in Shakespheres play Romeo and Juliet, it shows the readers the devastating love between the two of them, kind of like the story of these two teens that fall in love for each other but except with way more consequences and the two familes; The Montaques and The Capulets. But when talking about these two we cant leave out the people that try and ruin it, and this includes Lord Capulet, Julia’s nurse, and Friar Laurence, these three try to cause their relationship to come to an end. They do have some traits that make them simiilar like being selfishness and just downright leaving them in the dirt and betraying them and causing it to tragically come to both of them being dead, but lets start form the beginning where in fact they already to mess up Rome and Juliets affection for each other, the Lord Capulet and her father make up a lie about them caring for Juliet and always having an eye on her when actually, they really dont care and keep in what’s in it for her and they do not have the best interest for her at heart, Lord Capulet syas to Paris “My child is yet a stranger in the world, she hath not seen the change of fourteen years;Let two more summers wither in their pride, Ere we may think her ripe to be a ripe.”(ll, ii, 8-11). This quote actually gives the reader the thought that he is an father that is actually concerned about child’s health and that she is too young to be married.
But yet when she realizes that she does not want to be married to paris, her father becomes very angry and tells her “Disobiteient wrench!/I tell thee what, get thee to church o’Thursday or never after look me in the face”(III, v, 160-163).
