IntroductionSuicide came from the Latin word “suicidium” where sui refers to “of oneself” and cidium means “a killing”. Hence, it means the intended killing of oneself, usually the result of psychiatric disorder.
In another words, it also defined as the act of someone ending their own life to avoid emotional or physical pain that they think it is unendurable. According to the World Health Organization (WHO)’s report in 2016, suicide has reached an unhealthy rate around 800,000 suicides worldwide, and also one of the dominant reasons of death among the teenagers. From a research done by WHO, women seek suicide more often than men. On the other hand, men complete suicide more often than women because they incline to use more fatal actions that cause death.
The main 3 criteria of suicide are unnatural death, the intention of the person to die and the reason of the person to end his or her life (NRCB, 2014). If the death meets all 3 criteria, it will be classified as a suicide. Nevertheless, in South Korea
