Job security is the possibility that a person will have the job. A job with a high job security would mean that the chance of losing the job is minimum.
However a job with low job security proposes that a person in such a situation would have a high probability of losing the job. (Weisberger,1973). Bourn (1980) defines it as the self-assurance will prolong to work for the same employer as long as the employee is capable and eager to give the necessary services.Nevertheless, job security finally depends on whether they are employable or not, however if the company has a requirement for the employees skills, the company will offer some relief and evade from unemployment risk. The employers only have a minor involvement to job security of individuals.
