Nevertheless, he also excelled in speaking being known to lead various speaking workshops. Indeed, Mr. Card is an achiever yet he has time for his family and other religious endeavors. Orson Scott Card is a native of Richland in Washington State. He was born on August 24, 1951. Mr. Card was named after his grandfather.

Currently, he lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife and his daughter. In 1975 Orson got a degree from Brigham Yong University and in 1981 he got another degree from university of Utah. Despite being preoccupied in the university, Orson still has time for practicing his faith. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he even joined them for a missionary activity in Brazil. In terms of professional life, Orson Scott Card excels in contemporary American fiction writing; for example, the Ender’s Game, and its sequels, and the Speaker for the Dead of Ender’s Shadow.
He is also an essayist, columnist, and a critic. Mr. Card published two books on writing: Character and Viewpoint and How to Write Science Fiction and Fantasy.
He had produced hundreds of audio, and video plays and scripts. Orson Scott Card also has written biblical novels like Stones Tables, and Rachel and Leah. Aside from this, he has conducted writing courses and workshops. More so, Mr.
Card also imparts his knowledge and skills in writing as a teaching professor in Southern Virginia University and has partnered for a Fresco Production, a company involved in the production of movies.Because of Orson Scott Card’s ability in writing that made him garnered various awards such as Hugo, and Nebula for science fiction novels.
