FOCUS OF THE REPORTThe Focus of the internship report is to brief about what I have learned during the time in the internship which directly implements the knowledge I have gained during my graduation time.The internship assists me with career development providing real work experience and opportunity to explore my interest and develop professional skills and competencies.At VB Soft Corp as an intern I got an opportunity to work as a Business Analyst and gave me a regular training which has brought me the confidence to face the real-time projects. The project I was involved related to a startup finding its feasibility in the market providing Wi-Fi as a service. (WaaS). As a Business analyst I have to use my MBA knowledge and guidance from my senior analyst to assist in studying the viability and product positioning strategies for the project.

I am happy to say that the work environment at the company was very cheerful for the new beginners which will help them to play an active role in the project and help them gain the knowledge out of the project which will be the real reason for VB Soft Corp to maintain the healthy environment in the work.The company allows the person to stay innovative and can bring out the person’s ability in handling the situations and succeed in the assigned tasks.I am assured myself that the common goal and objective of an internship which are learning the organizational work flow/process, work ethics, job responsibilities etc. has been achieved during my term in Vividian business Soft Corp.DESCRIPTION OF THE INDUSTRY AND FIELD Information technology will be responsible for store, protect, process, transmit and retrieve any information using software and hardware. It simply means managing the information digitally.

The Electronics age commenced in 1940 and perpetuated until the 2000’s. Vacuum tubes were not used for cleaning.

The first general-purpose computer was called the UNIVAC (Universal Automatic Computer). The mechanics from the last era were replaced with vacuum tubes which made electronics possible.Then, digital computing came along- still in the Electronic Age. The first generation has vacuum tubes, compliers and punch cards. The second generation came with AT;T replacing the vacuum tubes with transistors. These new inventions were smaller, they were more energy friendly and they created less heat- all great qualities for a general use computer. External storage and programming language were evolving as punch cards were replaced with magnetic tape and disks.

People could subscribe to a service without having to buy every expensive update and being able to access the memory from multiple data points. This was essential to virtualization and cloud computing. I was involved as a team member in a project that was to determine the viability of new start-up in USA. The start-up was an IT solution provider for Wi-Fi as a service. Thus I was assisting my seniors in sourcing data through secondary research for analyzing the US IT market and set up marketing strategies using my academics knowledge from “Digital marketing” subject.One of my senior analysts does financial computations for the client’s project in order to forecast the revenue, expenses, breakeven etc. in determining business strategy.

As a team member, I was involved in framing set of questionnaires to analysis the expenses needed to launch the services and maintain operations in USA. The “managerial economics” in my MBA helped in understanding the requirements of this analysis easily i.e.

why companies need to analysis its financial margin and how to do that in step by step process. ConclusionMy internship at Vividian Business Soft Corporation was the first instance of me working in a professional world. It was a memorable experience as not only I gained experience and knowledge but also some friend for my professional and personal life. The main objective of the internship is to provide an opportunity to identify, observe and practice how my MBA knowledge is applicable in real industry. I feel I have achieved enough confidence in surviving the professional world with my internship knowledge as an initiative. In my internship, I have learned to compute my analysis, understand the data, decision making based on data, teamwork practices etc.
