Paracetamol is known as Acetaminophen or (Acetyl-Para-AminoPhenol) APAP. Acetaminophen is commonly used in United states, Japan, Canada, Venezuela, Colombia and Iran. It is commonly used for curing pain and fever. It also can be used to relief pain temporarily.
It can be sold very often with other medicines such like cough syrups. It is taken orally or through the rectum and also given through intravenous drips (IV). The effects of the Paracetamol usually can last about 2 to 4 hours depending how strong the percentage it carries. It is usually safe at recommended dosage. Not everyone’s body is able to take Paracetamol, so some people might have skin rashes appearing due to the intake, and it may or may not occur. It is safe to use during pregnancy or when having to breastfeed. Paracetamol can be group as a mild painkiller.
The first paracetamol was made in 1877. Paracetamol is a generic medicine that has trade names such as Tylenol, Panadol and Dhamol.
