What was she famous for?
Through being a princess, Diana became known as a fashion icon and as the supporter, president or patron of many, many charities. She is remembered for her work with AIDS charities and for the removal of landmines. She was also the first commoner (although the daughter of an earl, she legally was a commoner) to marry an heir apparent or presumptive to any of the British thrones since Anne Hyde. Diana is also known for the scandal of her affair with James Hewitt, which she admitted to in her infamous Panorama interview in 1995.
How did she die?
While visiting Paris, her and her boyfriend, Dodi Al-Fayed was involved in a car crash after trying to escape from the paparazzi on the night of August 30, 1997. Diana initially survived the crash, but later succumbed to her injuries at a Paris hospital a few hours later. Al-Fayed and the driver were also killed, and a bodyguard was seriously injured.
How did her fame and death link?
Due to her fame, she died. The paparazzi followed her, if that never happened then she would have been fine. Also, if she didn’t go to Paris with her boyfriend, then she would have not ended up in that car accident.
