In spring of two-thousand seventeen I took general psychology, and I begin what I was going to do what my psychology degree after finishing undergrad, so I started doing some research on fields in psychology and two specializations that caught my eye which was neuropsychology and health psychology. Neuropsychology was my favorite field because I enjoyed figuring out why the brain does this and how a certain person act the way they do. I also decided to major in psychology and further my degree in neuropsychiatry because my mother who is a veteran has a mild psychological disorder called PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and that was one of the many reasons why I choose neuropsychology, to research and find out how these illnesses affect the brain, emotions, or how a person develop these illnesses. Another reason I became fond of neuropsychology because I would always be reading articles on mental illnesses.
