Schizophrenia is a disorder that affects the way a person feels, talks, thinks, and acts. Somebody with schizophrenia may have trouble recognizing what is genuine and what is fanciful, may be lethargic or pulled back, and may have trouble communicating typical feelings in social situations. The vast majority of individuals with schizophrenia are not savage and do not pose a peril to others. Contrary to popular belief, they are not homeless, and they do not live in hospitals. Most individuals with schizophrenia live with family, in group homes, or even on their own. Schizophrenia is not caused but childhood experiences, poor parenting, or absence of will power, not are the symptoms the same for each individual. Research has proven that schizophrenia affects men and women similarly but may have an early start in guys.
Unfortunately, there is no cure for schizophrenia yet, but research is leading to new, safer treatments. Schizophrenia keeps on making new difficulties today and keeps on being a complicated psychological maladjustment. There had been a misguided judgment that schizophrenia is a rare condition.
Yet, it is really not uncommon; in truth every individual has a risk of developing it within their lifetime. Half of the inpatients in mental hospitals are schizophrenics. It is a brain disorder that can be diagnosed in anyone.
