The lead was played by Sara Arjun, who mesmerized the audience in Deiva Thirumagal and Saiva. Annmariya Kalippilaanu rotates around Ann mariya, a jovial Kid who hires a goon Girish due to an incident at school.Her kindness and child mischief makes them very close and this leads to change in the morals of Girish.And, the USP of the film was the presence of Dulquar Salman who had played an extended cameo, His appearance as Cameo highlighted the film, helped to the development of the plot.The film had hit the screens on 5 August 2016. The movie was later appreciated with good reviews, which then lead to dubbing the film into various languages like Telugu under the title “Pilla Rakshasi’. Almaara Upon gaining huge success with his previous film, he gained popularity among the people and offers poured in. Soon he started his next project which was named “Almaara”, he was the sole scriptwriter of the film.
The plot of the movie mainly concentrates on the life of Arun and Swathi. The film also highlights the romance and love angel. Arun falls for Swathi and marries her, as a present, her parents gift them an Almaara which is so big that it couldn’t fit in the bedroom so that decide to keep it in the hall which causes a huge inconvenience for Arun’s parents. How the Almaara becomes the highlight of the story is the real act of the movie.
This movie was also a success, many critics had awarded 3.0/5.0 for the film and had appreciated how the film revolves around a cupboard without making the audience bored.
