The human resource manager’s job is no longer limited to hiring, paying and firing. The profession continues to evolve and includes more strategic responsibilities. Given that some companies have multiple branches around the world, HR managers also have become global managers and, with globalization comes more responsibilities. To live up to them, they must be able to adapt, be sensitive to the needs of the diversified group of employees and understand their social culture backgrounds while at the same time uphold the standards of the organization.
