The reason why I enrolled in English 30-1 is because it is a course that most post-secondary institutions require. I have tried to avoid taking this class because I knew about the amount of dedication and practiced that it required. The benefits of English classes go on and on, it helps you communicate well in written and spoken words. After all in the future, when I try to obtain a job, employers will most likely base their decision on my ability to express ideas and opinions in a sophisticated and specific manner.
My favourite genres is fiction. I especially enjoy reading fictions because it is interesting to put yourself in the shoes of the characters in the book.During this semester I hope to improve on how to write well written papers and try to understand the ideas the text creator is trying to convey.
The overall mark I expect to achieve in this course is a at least a 75 and I believe I can achieve this if I can put in the work. I regard reading as a strength because I
