Zara’s advantage travels globally, but carries along some negatives along with it as well.
Zara is a multinational company, therefore their brand name is familiarized by those worldwide. Not to mention, on the info section of their company’s website, it states “Zara is one of the biggest international fashion companies, and it belongs to Inditex, one of the world’s largest distribution groups. Amancio Ortega is the founder and the previous chairman of Inditex fashion group. The customer is at the heart of our unique business model, which includes design, production, distribution, and sales, through our extensive retail network.” The biggest advantage they have in my opinion is how they promote their products through their brick and mortar stores as opposed to the traditional advertising methods other major clothing companies rely on.
